Friday May 18th, 2012

The Lupus Foundation of America has declared Friday, May 18th.  They are asking all Lupus supporters to wear purple for this day to help spread awareness.  Below are some of the ways you can join thousands of American is observing this new tradition.

1.  Wear Purple clothing, hats, jewelry, etc.

2.  Ask family, friends, co-workers, and others to wear purple in support of you.

3.  Encourage your FaceBook friends, Twitter followers, and internet friends to participate.

4.  Tell people why you are wearing purple and encourage them to visit Cure4Lupus.org for more information.

5.  Hand out Lupus Awareness Roses as a keepsake for the day: Lupus Awareness Month Roses

6.  Take pictures of your participation and we will post them on this page.

7.  Tweet about the day with #PutOnPurple

8.  Share your photos on your FaceBook, Blog, etc.
