The laundry and dishes pile up,

The dust and dirt collect,

I am trapped.

 

Friends and family call,

Happy occasions pass me by,

I am trapped.

 

Strangers point and stare,

They can't see what's really there,

A future drastically altered

I am trapped.

 

Ideas fill my head,

Desires that will never come to be,

Like a prisoner in my own body,
