Lupus Awareness Month

The Lupus Foundation of America has decided to change Lupus Awareness Month from October to May.  Not sharing the month Breast Cancer Awareness should allow for more attention to our cause.  You can participate in Lupus Awareness Month by asking your local and federal governments to adopt May as Lupus Awareness Month, attending one of the many Lupus Awareness events going on all over the country, or by wearing and displaying Lupus Awareness Month Products.  We have redesigned our Awareness Month products and you can find them here.

Memsaic Wall

We are creating a Memsaic Wall to raise money for the Lupus Foundation of America's Research Initiative.  This program gives grants to researchers looking for the cause(s) and cure for Lupus.

How the Memsaic Wall works is, you purchase a brick onto which you can upload a picture and comments to help us "build our wall".  Bricks cost $10 and all proceeds go directly to the Lupus Foundation of America Research Initiative.

Click here to get your brick to and help fund Lupus research!

Celebrities & Lupus

One of our most popular pages every month is our Celebrities and Lupus page.  This month we added 2 new celebrities that have Lupus and 16 new celebrities that support Lupus and/or Lupus organizations.

We encourage you to let these celebs know how much you support them and the work the do for Lupus awareness by writing to them, or supporting their careers by buying their albums or going to their movies, or watching their shows, etc.  You can also encourage them to continue to speak out for a cause that is so dreadfully under publicized.
