This hour long soap opera on ABC celebrates 44 years on the air in April, 2007. The show focuses on the happenings of "Port Charles, New York's General Hospital". The show sometimes spotlights important health and welfare topics.

We have written the following email to the show to ask them to do a storyline about Lupus. We encourage all of you to write to them as well. You can tell them your story, give them Lupus information and stats and encourage them to cover this important topic. They do limit you to 500 characters.

Dear General Hospital:

I am writing to you today to ask you to do a story about Lupus, a disease affects an estimated 1.5 million Americans, 90% of them women. The FDA has not approved a new treatment for Lupus in over 4 decades. We desperately need the awareness your show can give!
