There are support groups in most major cities. The LFA sponsors many of them. Please visit the Lupus Foundation of America's Website to find out about their support groups.

It is also a good idea to check with the local hospitals in your area. Some of them sponsor support groups or they may know about them.

There is a growing website that brings people together in local areas with common interests, if there is no Lupus group in your area, you can start one. It is a pretty neat concept! You can check it out here:

If you are not able to find local support groups, and even if you are, we encourage everyone to take part in the many online social networking and blogging sites like MySpace.com, FaceBook.com, etc. as well as the online support groups, message boards, etc. that are all over the Internet. We join everyone we hear about. You can find links to the blogs and social networking sites we belong to on our homepage and to the message boards on our Other Lupus Sites page. And, of course there is always our Message Board that is growing everyday. There truly is a wealth of support out there!
