Stem Cell Research Importance

I received an email from my Senator today asking what issue was most important to me and why. My choices were: Agriculture/Rural Development, Health Care, Economy, Education, Energy/Gas Prices, Environment, Immigration, Social Security/Pensions, Stem Cell Research, Sudan, Taxes, War in Iraq, Other.

I Chose Stem Cell Research and elaborated: Stem Cells have the potential to save millions of lives. They can also improve the quality of life for even more. Those people will relieve the burden on social security and health care as well as increasing the tax base thereby helping all the other issues. In my opinion Stem Cell Research has the potential to help with every one of these issues.

I just thought I would share this with all of you and invite you to let your legislators know how important stem cell research or any other issue is to you! Click here to find your legislators!
