Lupus REACH Amendments of 2007

The Lupus REACH Amendments of 2007 (H.R. 1192) is a bill recently introduced to the U.S. House by Representative Kendrick Meek. REACH stands for research, education, awareness, communication and healthcare. This bill will significantly improve the understanding and treatment of Lupus.

This bill was also introduced to the Senate (S. 1359) by Senator Patty Murray.

Also, both of the remaining 2008 presidential candidates have the opportunity to co-sponsor this bill and as of 6/4/08 niether of them have done so, Senators Barack Obama, and John McCain.
