Last year's walk allowed our
chapter to send a check $23,275 to the Lupus Foundation of America's
Research Initiative. Thanks to all of you who helped make this
possible! This year we are going for $40,000!

We are participating in the
2008 Iowa Walk for Lupus Now because our family & countless other
families have been deeply affected by Lupus. Please support us in
raising money to support the Lupus Foundation of America.
Their mission is to improve the diagnosis & treatment of Lupus,
support those affected by the disease, increase awareness among
health professionals & the public, & find the cause & a cure. 75% of
money raised goes directly to research, the rest goes to Lupus
awareness, education and support of patients.
